Remnants of a scout platoon are deperately fighting their way out of an encircling
enemy when one scout rider sees their drop ship coming to their rescue.
I was sketching ideas and ended up with this. Note nearest scout is pointing up
at ship with right hand.

Might want to study real ruins a bit more. Those holes look a bit too neat. They should either be crumbly or merely pock/depressed marks if the walls are strong. The tank thing looks very much rushed.

Eyecatching nonetheless.

Dude, this is sweet. I really love this piece, it shows a wide variety of action, and deffinately has the feel of a battlefield. Very nice.

Dark and dreary, adds a lot of mood to the picture, but the background seems to be suggesting hope with the ship descending as well as the light. Great work!
